    A Dynamic Force of Artistic Songwriting

    Nicole & Michael have been involved in various forms of art for decades.  Nicole began her love of performance by studying dance, choir, and musical theater.  Michael studied classical guitar and then found his passion in collaborating with other musicians and creating improvisational sound.  They have both been inspired by indigenous and ancestral wisdom, which has fueled their music through creating a strong connection with the earth.

    Together they have unified their love for music and connection to nature by creating Aire & Sol, and have been mystifying audiences since its inception.  In between their vocal harmonies with motivational lyrics, Nicole plays both dreamy and upbeat flute while Michael adds percussive beatbox while simultaneously creating groovy and unique guitar sounds.   As the live set drifts into the ethereal, Nicole may perform a unique and fluid dance, often incorporating silk fans with mesmerizing colors, or will create a wall of sound with flute and vocals.  A live performance by Aire & Sol takes the audience on a journey that is dreamy, thought-provoking, and exciting.  

    Aire & Sol performs as a duo with a powerful sound, and often features guest musicians to accentuate their unique performance.  They have opened up for the musical artists known as Yaima, the live looping artist Cornflower, and have shared the stage at festivals with Porangui, Satsang, Gone Gone Beyond, Desert Dwellers, and more. Nicole & Michael have captivated a wide variety of listeners of all ages, performing at feature events, markets, weddings, private events, and festival stages.  Their music has an ability to dissolve barriers and create connection across a variety of cultures.

    Aire & Sol's small collection of recorded songs are a mere sample of what they have scheduled to release. Their new album is currently being recorded and is set to begin releasing in late 2024 and early 2025.
